I’ve been using the mp3 downloads from meditainment to help me de-stress and for meditation.
Incidentally, I’m also a composer who writes relaxation music and music for films and other forms of media (have a look at www.alanjmoore.com).
I naturally find being calm rather difficult (hence the website!) and so I rely on external stimuli to get me in the right mood.
The mp3s fall into 4 categories:
- Self Development
- Self Discovery
The recordings are of different lengths (so can be used at any time of the day and to fit your lifestyle/schedule) and I’ve found that they all have a calming effect, even if that is not the prime purpose of the recording.
The music is gentle and of an ambient nature, although there are moments when beautiful melodies float through.
The guided sessions are read by a gentle-spoken lady with an English accent.
